Reproducibility of Statistical Inferences

In recent years, there has been much attention for reproducibility of research results, with many problems being highlighted and good practice advocated. Surprisingly, there has been very little attention for reproducibility of statistical inferences, which are often at the heart of research. We address this issue with focus on hypothesis testing, and consider reproducibility as a predictive
problem: if we were to repeat the experiment, would it lead to the same outcome of the hypothesis test?
